Book Review - Pax
I made this post a while ago, forgot to post it.
Pax is about a boy named Peter and his fox named Pax. The dad thinks that the fox is too much work, so the drive into the woods and let Pax go. Just a warning, the first chapter is insanely sad, for this very reason. The book is told in two perspectives Peter and Pax. The whole book is just about this boy running away from home and looking for his best friend.
I really enjoyed the chapters told by Peter, but after the first couple of the fox chapters, I started to not like the ones in Pax's point of view. Pax kind of acts like a dog, and foxes can't talk, so it was really cute for a little while, then it just got dull.
I would give this book a 4/5.

January Wrap-Up
Books I read:
Milk and Vine - Adam Gasiewski and Emily Beck
It was just a fun read. The pages were just pictures and quotes from different Vines, it was a very fun read.

Maus 2 - Art Spiegelman
Not as good as the first one, but I still enjoyed it. Spiegelman has a great writing and art style.

Simon vs. the Homosapien Agenda - Becky Albertalli
My favorite book I've read in a while. This is the first YA book I've read, and it was a great introduction.

Old Man and the Sea - Ernest Hemingway
Hemingway is a very good writer, but I just didn't enjoy this book that much. It was dull and boring, but I can recognize the author as a good author.

The Post
This movie was extremely good. I think it will win some Oscars.

Jumanij: Welcome to the Jungle
This movie is not by all means a great movie. The only reason it has the same rating as The Post, is because I enjoyed it the same amount. It had good characters and it was hilarious.

I loved this Anime so much. It reminded be of the old Studio Ghibli, Totoro and Kiki's to be exact.

This movie was pretty good, but it dragged. It had a few pretty funny scenes, but I wasn't super impressed.
