This was my Anakin costume. I was and still am a huge "Star Wars" fan, and I remember this costume and all the perpetration that went into it. I remember going to the store and finding the lightsaber and the marker we used for the scar. The one thing that I don't remember is why I chose to wear that Lego shirt . . .
This was my homemade Batman costume. Everything you see there is made out different simple craft supplies, but the costume looks really good. I vaguely remember the cape being cut, and I can't put my finger on why this costume means so much to me, but just the sight of this picture made me smile.
Behold the greatest costume my dad ever made for me, Starkiller! I was very obsessed with this character from the DS game, and of course I had to dress up as him for Halloween. My dad was not too excited to make this complex costume, but the outcome is amazing. I still remember going to the Renaissance Faire and one of the actors knew my costume. They said to me, "Don't go killing any stars," and it made my day.

Love this post! And for the record, I ALWAYS loved making your costumes. It was like the annual challenge to my design and crafting skills. Starkiller was one of those huge challenges, and I was plenty excited to do it for you. In fact, I was a little sad that neither you nor your sister needed my help this year.
I'm glad it's still one of your favorite holidays.
Oh my gosh! Those pictures are so cute! I love going back and looking at my costumes from when I was younger also. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays too; I call it cosplay for candy.
Additionally, great to see a post on here again! It's been ages; no judgement at all though because life gets really busy.
The Lego shirt - LOL! Maybe you just needed a dark shirt but didn't have any plain ones?
I remember being at the Ren Faire when the actor said that! You were super excited.
Fun post!
Fun post!! I love the pictures.
Ditto what Daddy said - he LOVES working on your costumes. He likes creative projects and every Halloween that he's working on your costumes, he loves it.
FEFSwordmaster . . . who are you? :) I'm so curious! Cecelia?
Yep, yep! I had almost forgot that I was subscribed to the blog until I got the post notification recently. I hope all of you are doing well!
Aaaahhhh! Hello!! It's so good to hear from you! How are you? Where are you? What have you been up to?? :)
Hahahaa, I don't know what else to say other than life.
My family moved again, and we're up north once more. I'm now a junior in high school; I am an active member of my school's fencing team, Model United Nations club, and Strategy Club. I'm also a member of NHS and the regular and honors orchestra. I'm taking 3 AP classes this year, and like all of my teachers so far.
I still like Yu-Gi-Oh and anime (of course). My three favorite things on that front recently have been Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Dungeons & Dragons, and Dragon Ball. But maybe the best part of all is that I have an absolutely amazing boyfriend. That's more or less my life in a nutshell.
How are you guys doing?
Hey, good to hear from you! Glad life's going well. You said you moved up north, are you in PA? Also, any change you're on Facebook? I recently started watching JoJo as well! I'm glad to hear you have a great boyfriend, I recently started dating an awesome girlfriend actually. We definitely need to catch up.
Yeah, back in PA again. Ahhh, Jojo's is awesome; although, I'm not all caught up. I'm happy for you and your girlfriend! I have a Discord now, so maybe we could chat through that to catch up?
I've only seen the first season of JoJo, I'm getting through it very slowly... You can leave your Discord handle and number if you want, and I can add you.
My Discord handle is: ☕Polteagiest☕#3793
(Very hyped for sword and shield, as you can tell)
Yeah, JoJo is a bit intimidating at first.
Hmm, I couldn't find your Discord, maybe try adding me. Epixca#5800
